Terms of Use

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Welcome to LabWizard. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the LabWizard website, applications, upload flows, community features, and related services.

By using LabWizard, creating an account, uploading content, commenting, rating, saving, or otherwise participating on the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. What LabWizard provides

LabWizard is a research content platform for uploading, organizing, discovering, and discussing materials such as Handbooks, Study Notes, Lab Blowups, and Lab Picks content.

The platform may also include search, rankings, previews, personal libraries, saved and liked content, comments, ratings, suggestion forms, moderation workflows, and account dashboards.

You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and these Terms.

2. Accounts and responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it.

You must provide accurate, current, and non-misleading information when creating or updating your account, and you must not impersonate another person or organization.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you upload or submit to LabWizard, subject to the permissions you grant below.

By uploading or submitting content, you confirm that:

  • you own the content or have the necessary rights and authorization to upload, store, preview, share, and discuss it through the service;
  • your content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contract, or other third-party rights;
  • the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and is not intentionally misleading.

4. License granted to LabWizard

By uploading or submitting content to LabWizard, you grant LabWizard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, index, moderate, preview, display, generate thumbnails, excerpt, and distribute that content only as necessary to operate, improve, secure, and provide the service.

This includes showing titles, excerpts, cover images, first-page previews, metadata, and user-facing interaction data where relevant to the product experience.

This license is limited to platform operation and community presentation and does not transfer ownership of your content to LabWizard.

5. Community visibility and review states

Depending on the content type and review state, content uploaded to LabWizard may become visible to other users through listing pages, detail pages, search results, recommendations, rankings, previews, ratings, comments, saved items, or liked-item views.

Some content types may pass through a review stage before full public release. During review, LabWizard may display limited previews, summaries, first pages, interaction counts, or status indicators.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • upload or submit content you do not have the right to share;
  • upload unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, threatening, misleading, or harmful content;
  • submit malware, malicious files, or deceptive metadata;
  • harass, impersonate, manipulate, or abuse other users;
  • scrape, bulk-harvest, reverse engineer, or automate misuse of the platform beyond permitted use;
  • interfere with the security, moderation, storage, or normal operation of the service.

7. Moderation and enforcement

LabWizard may review, restrict, reject, remove, unpublish, hide, or disable access to content that violates these Terms, receives a valid complaint, creates platform risk, or is otherwise inconsistent with the intended use of the service.

LabWizard may also edit metadata, remove previews, limit interaction features, suspend submissions, or restrict account access where reasonably necessary for moderation, legal compliance, safety, product integrity, or platform maintenance.

Accounts involved in repeated infringement, abuse, manipulation, or serious violations may be suspended or terminated.

8. Suggestions and feedback

If you send LabWizard feedback, taxonomy suggestions, feature requests, product ideas, or similar submissions, you allow LabWizard to review and use that feedback to improve the service without any obligation to compensate you, unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific program or promotion.

9. Availability of service

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, or error-free operation.

10. Disclaimer

LabWizard is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that all content is accurate, complete, lawful, reliable, scientifically correct, fit for a particular purpose, or free from third-party claims.

Users remain responsible for how they rely on uploaded materials, notes, product commentary, or community discussion.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabWizard is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.

Where the law does not allow certain exclusions, those exclusions apply only to the maximum extent permitted.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect product changes, legal requirements, or operational needs.

The latest update date will be shown on this page. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
